5x  + (x -  \frac{1 - x}{2} ) - (7x - 1) +  \frac{1}{2}  = 0 \\  = 5x +  \frac{x - 1}{2}  - 7x + 1 +  \frac{1}{2}  = 0 \\  \frac{11x  -  1}{2}  -  \frac{14x + 3}{2}  = 0 \\  = 11x - 14x - 1 - 3 = 0 \\  =  - 3x - 4 = 0 \\  =  - 3x = 4 \\  = x =  \frac{ - 4}{3}
