According to the question,

16/x -1 = 15/x+1

16-x/x = 15/x+1. {Taking out LCM if 1}

Transposing x To RHS,

16-x = 15x/x+1. {Transposing x+1 to LHS}

(16-x) x+1 = 15x

(16-x) (x+1) = 15x

(Opening The Brackets)

16(x+1) - x ( x+1) =15x

16x + 16 - x^2 - x = 15x

16x-x + 16 - x^2 = 15x

15x + 16 - x^2 = 15x

16 - x^2 = 0 (Transposing 15x to LHS)

-x^2 = -16

x^2 = 16

x = √16

x = √ 8×2

x = √ 2×2×2×2

x = 4

Hence,

The Value of x is 4
