Hello, Buddy!!

||Required Solution||

 \frac{x - 2}{3}  =  \frac{x - 1}{4}  \\ by \: cross \: multiplication \\ 4(x - 2) = 3(x - 1) \\ 4x - 8 = 3x - 3 \\ 4x - 3x =  - 3 + 8 \\ x = 5

  • Value of x ➪ 5

SOLUTION :-

 \sf{ \frac{x - 2}{3} =  \frac{x - 1}{4}}

Cross multiplying LHS and RHS,

 \sf{→4(x - 2) = 3(x - 1)}

 \sf{→4x - 8 = 3x - 3}

Bringing RHS TO LHS,

 \sf{→4x - 8 - (3x - 3)} = 0

 \sf{→4x - 8 - 3x + 3 = 0}

 \sf{→x - 5 = 0}

 \sf \therefore \fbox \green{x = 5}

Hence the value of  \sf{x = 5}.
