solve for x+y , 2x-3y=8 , 4x-6y=9​

Given :-

2x-3y=8----------(1)

4x-6y=9----------(2)

Applying elimination method:-

2x-3y=8-----(1) x 2

4x-3y=9-----(2) x 1

We get :-

4x-6y=16

4x-3y=9

Now,

-3y=7

y= -7/3
