Find the LCM of 20,30,35 and 45.

Prime factorization of 20 = 2 * 2 * 5

Prime factorization of 30 = 2 * 3 * 5

Prime factorization of 40 = 5 * 7

Prime factorization of 45 = 3 * 3 * 5

LCM(20,30,35,45) = 2 * 2 * 5 * 3 * 3 * 7

                              = 1260.

Divide the largest number with the LCM.

We know that Largest four digit number is 9999.

⇒ 9999/1260

Quotient = 7 and remainder = 1179.

Add the remainder 12 to the above process.

⇒ 9999 - 1179 + 12

⇒ 9932.


Therefore, the required 4-digit number = 8832.
