Hello!!!
Since:
2x + 3y =2_____(1)
x + 2y = 8______(2)
Now multiplying eqn.(2) by 2 and subtracting it from eqn.(1),we get,
2x+4y= 16
2x+3y= 2
(-) (-). (-)
________
y=14
________
Now putting value of y into eqn(2),we get
x +2y=8
x+2×14=8
x=8-28
x=-20
Hope it helps:)
