Multiply equation 1 from 6 and equation3 from 2

12x-18y=54...........3

12x+18y=30...........4

Add equation 3 and 4

------------------

24x=84

x=84÷24

x=3.5

put x = 3.5 in equation 1

2x-3y=9

2(3.5)-3y=9

7-3y=9

-3y=9-7

-3y=2

y=2÷3
