2x + y = 10 y = 10 - 2x - 1st equation

2x - y = 2

2x - 2 = y -----2nd equation

now write x an below that y and take a number and write it as x and with that no take first equation and like that take 2 more numbers and do the same thing with 2nd equation.

2x + y = 10

now cancel +y and -y and then add 2x and 2x.then add 10 and 2

which will be seen as

4x = 12

x = 4/12

x = 3

take any equation to search y .I'll prefer 1st equation soo2x + y = 10

2 * 3 + y = 10

6 + y = 10

y = 10 - 6

y = 4
