EXPLANATION.

Graphically pair of linear equation.

⇒ 2x - y = 4. - - - - - (1).

⇒ 3y - x = 3. - - - - - (2).

As we know that,

From equation (1), we get.

⇒ 2x - y = 4. - - - - - (1).

Put the value of x = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ 2(0) - y = 4.

⇒ - y = 4.

⇒ y = - 4.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,-4).

Put the value of y = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ 2x - (0) = 4.

⇒ 2x = 4.

⇒ x = 2.

Their Co-ordinates = (2,0).

From equation (2), we get.

⇒ 3y - x = 3. - - - - - (2).

Put the value of x = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ 3y - (0) = 3.

⇒ 3y = 3.

⇒ y = 1.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,1).

Put the value of y = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ 3(0) - x = 3.

⇒ - x = 3.

⇒ x = - 3.

Their Co-ordinates = (-3,0).

Both curves intersects at a point = (3,2).
