0hello friend,

In this such type of questions of linear equation we need to put the value of variables with own at least three or four times.....

So let's Solve this problem..... you will understand clearly...okk

equation first,

3x-y = 2

-y = -3x +2 .......( multiply by -1)

y = 3x - 2

So x = 0 taking

y = 3x-2
y= 3*0-2
y= 0-2
y= -2
(x,y)= (0,-2) .....(I)

x = 1 taking

y= 3*1-2
y= 3-2
y=1

(x,y)= (1,1) ........(II)

x= 2 taking

y= 3*2-2
y= 6-2
y= 4

(x,y) = (2,4).......(III)

This will not form a linear graph,So one more value we will take.

So x=3 taking

y=3*3-2
y=9-2
y=7

(x,y) = (3,7).........IV)

Now our linear graph will form.....I have drawn on the graph paper and also put there equation like 3x-y= 2..

Now equation second we get,

x +2y=10

x= -2y+10

So y= 0 taking..

x= -2*0+10
x= 0+10
x= 10

(x,y) = (10,0).......(I)

y= 1 taking

x= -2*1+10
x= -2+10
x= 8
(x,y) = (8,1).........(II)

y= 2 taking

x= -2*2+10
x= -4+10
x= 6
(x,y) = (6,2).........(III)

So now we have solved this equation by putting value and this value will form a linear graph that's why we will solve further...okk.

The graph for this equation I also drawn on graph paper.....

Hence the coordinates points (0,-2) or (0,8) are points where the lines meets the axis Y.
