Solve graphically x-y+1 =0 and x+2y=11

x-y+1=0 which means x-y=-1 which also means x=-1+y or x=y-1 ...ok na

so using value of x in 2nd equation we can solve it

x+2y=11 (using value )

(y-1)+2y= 11

3y =11+1

3y=12

y=4

now using value of y =4 in the ist (bold) equation, we get

x=y-1

x=12-1

x=11

this is one of the method to solve .hope it helps .

the only thing you have to do to solve it graphically is that

ist form graph of ist equation by giving random values to x ,you will get values of y ,ok

then similarly make graph of 2nd equation.
