Solve:
(i) 12 + 5x = 32
(ii) 3x 7 + 4 = 19

Answer:

(i) 12 + 5x = 32

5x = 32 - 12

x = 20/5

x = 4

(ii) 3x + 4 = 19

3x = 19 - 4

x = 15/3

x = 5

In the above question it is given that,

The given equation is

12+5x=32\\&3x+7+4=19

We have to find the value of x in above equation.

Thus, solving the equation we get,

(i)

12+5x=32\\5x=32-12\\5x=20\\x=\frac{20}{4}\\x=5

solving further we get,

(ii)

3x+7+4=19\\3x+11=19\\3x=19-11\\3x=8\\x=\frac{8}{3} \\x=2.667

 Hence we get the value of x =5 and x=2.667.
