Step-by-step explanation:

If,

x=2 (I did not take 1 because it would've changed nothing)

Then,

5/x + 2 - 3/x -2 = 2/x (Question)

= 5/2 + 2 - 3/2- 2 = 2/2

= 5/2 + 4/2 - 3/2 - 4/2 = 2/2

= 9/2 - 3/2 - 4/2 = 2/2

= 9/2 - 7/2 = 2/2

= 2/2 = 2/2

And if,

x= 12 (Taking a random number just to check)

Then,

5/x + 2 - 3/x -2 = 2/x (Question)

= 5/12 + 2 - 3/12 - 2 = 2/12

= 5/12 + 24/12 - 3/12 - 24/12 = 2/12

= 29/12 - 3/12 - 24/12 = 2/12

= 29/12 - 27/12 = 2/12

= 2/12 = 2/12

(Taking another number just to be sure)

So if x= 7,

5/x + 2 - 3/x - 2 = 2/x (Question)

= 5/7 + 2 - 3/7 - 2 = 2/7

= 5/7 + 14/7 - 3/7 - 14/7 = 2/7

= 19/7 - 3/7 - 14/7 = 2/7

=  19/7 - 17/7 =2/7

= 2/7 = 2/7

Answer:

So, basically all real numbers are solutions for this equation.

(Don't think this answer is long, i'm just checking if any value of x satisfies this equation. [Challenging question by the way !!!] )
