According to the question :

$=> \frac{2.4}{100} \times x = 22.8 \\ \\ \\ => \frac{24 \times x}{100 \times 10} = \frac{228}{10} \\ \\ \\ => \frac{24x}{100} = 228 \\ \\ \\ => x = \frac{228 \times 100}{24} \\ \\ \\ x = 9.5 \times 100 \\ \\ \\ x = 950$





Hence, Required number is ( 950 )
