3x/2 - 5y/3 = 0 ------------------------------- [ 1 ]

x/3 + y/2 = 13/6 ------------------------------- [ 2 ]

From [ 1 ] :

3x/2 - 5y/3 = 0

Multiply by 6 through:

9x - 10y = 0

9x = 10y

x = 10y/9 ------------------------------- [ 3 ]

From [ 2 ] :

x/3 + y/2 = 13/6

Multiply by 6 through:

2x + 3y = 13 ------------------------------- [ 4 ]

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Putting [3 ] and [ 4 ] together:

x = 10y/9 ------------------------------------ [ 3 ]

2x + 3y = 13 -------------------------------- [ 4 ]

Sub [ 3 ] into [ 4 ] :

2 (10y/9 ] + 3y = 13

20y/9 + 3y = 13

20y + 27y = 117

47y = 117

y = 117/47 --------------- Sub into [ 3 ]

x = 10y/9

x = 10y ÷ 9

x = 10(117/47) ÷ 9

x = 1170/47 x 1/9

x = 130/47

Answer: x = 130/47 and y = 117/47
