- volume of dry air + water=
- Temperature = 14°C
- pressure of dry air + water = 750mmHg
- vapour pressure of water at 14°C= 12mmHg
- volume of dry air at STP = ???
pressure due to dry air = total pressure - vapour pressure
pressure due to dry air =( 750 - 12 )mmHG
pressure due to dry air = 738 mmHg
- convert temp. into Kelvin
temperature = 14°C + 273 = 287 K
- using gas equation
