Solution :-

Let the age of Sachin be a

Age of Rahul = a + 4


According to question

a : (a+4) = 7 : 9

=> a/(a+4) = 7 /9

=> 9a = 7a + 28

=> 9a - 7a = 28

=> 2a = 28

=> a = 14

Sachin's age = 14 years

Rahul's age = 14 + 4 = 18 years
