To Find :-

  • The average score of the 6 pupils

Solution :-

  • Average is calculated by the sum of values by number of values. Mathematically ,

 \\  \star \: {\boxed{\sf{\purple{Average =  \frac{Sum \:of\:the \: values}{Number \: of \: values} }}}}

Substituting the data we have in the formulae. We get ,

 \\   : \implies \sf \: Average =  \frac{22 + 24 + 26 + 27 + 29 + 28}{6 }  \\  \\

 \\   : \implies \sf \: Average =  \frac{156}{6}  \\  \\

 \\   : \implies{\underline{\boxed{\pink{\sf{ \: Average = 26}}}}} \:  \bigstar \\  \\

 \\  {\underline{\sf{Hence ,  \: The  \: average \:  score \:  of \:  the \:  6 \:  pupils  \: is  \: \bold{26}.}}} \\
