Answer:

3x² + 13x + 8 = 0

divide whole equation by 3

we get

x² + 13/3x + 8/3 = 0

x² + 13/3x = -8/3

now add half of square of coefficient of x both the sides.

we get

x² + 13/3x + (13/6)² = (13/6)² - 8/3

(x+13/6)² = 169/36 - 8/3

(x+13/6)² = (169-96)/36

(x+13/6)² = 73/36

x+ 13/6 = ± √73/6

x = -13/6 ± √73/6

x = -13/6 + √73/6. or. x = -13/6 - √73/6

x = (√73 -13)/6. or x = -(√73+13)/6

hope this will help you
