Required answer:-

5(2x+7)= 2(3x + 15)+25

⇒ 10x + 35 = 6x + 30 + 25

⇒ 10x - 6x = 30 + 25 - 35

⇒ 4x = 55 - 35

⇒ 4x = 20

⇒ x = 20/4

⇒ x = 5

Verification:-

Put the value of x(5) in given equation.

⇒ 5(2x+7)= 2(3x + 15)+25

⇒ 5[2(5) + 7] = 2[3(5) + 15] + 25

⇒ 5(10+7) = 2(15+15) + 25

⇒ 5(17) = 2(30) + 25

⇒ 85 = 60 + 25

⇒ 85 = 85

Hence Verified!

The value of x is 41/5 and D>0

Step-by-step explanation:

5(2x+7)=2(3x+15)+25

10x+14=6x+30+25

10x+14=6x+55

10x-6x=55-14

4x=41

x=41/4
