(3x - 2)/4 + x = 2/3 - (2x + 3)/3

==> (3x - 2 + 4x)/4 = (2 - 2x + 3)/3

==> (7x - 2)/4 = (5 - 2x)/3

==> 3(7x - 2) = 4(5 - 2x) [cross-multiply]

==> 21x - 6 = 20 - 8x [Open the bracket]

==> 21x + 8x = 20 + 6

==> 29x = 26

==> x = 26/29

∴ The value of x = 26/29
