2y +5/3 = 26/3 - y
Therefore,
2y + y = 26/3 - 5/3
3y = 21/3
Hence,
y = 7/3.

dhruvsh: yes so i have written 7/3 only

2y +5/3 = 26/3--y

Add y on both sides...

3y + 5/3 = 26/3

bring 5/3 to RHS...

 3y = \frac{26 - 5}{3}
3y=21/3 ==》3y=7

y=7/3
