Given,

x = root 3 + root 2/ root 3 - root 2

y = root 3 - root 2 / root 3 + root 2

thus, x+y = ( root 3 + root 2/ root 3 - root 2 ) + (root 3 - root 2 / root 3 + root 2)

= ( root 3 + root 2)2 + ( root 3 - root 2)2 /( root 3 - root 2)* ( root 3 - root 2)

= {3 + 2 + 2(root 3 * root 2) + 3 + 2 - 2 ( root 3* root 2)} /( root 3) 2-(root 2)2

= ( 3+ 2 + 3 + 2)/ 3 - 2

= 10 / 1

= 10

thus, ( x+y) ^ 2 = ( 10) ^ 2 = 100

Thus, x2 + y2 + 2xy = 100

Now, you can find the value of x2 + y2 + xy on your own...
