Step-by-step explanation:

we see two triangles ,

t1=

hypotenuse=10 cm

height=6cm

base = ?

and t2=

hypotenuse=6.5cm

height =6 cm

base = ?

base of both the triangles summed up is x

6^2+b^2=10^2

b=√(100-36)

b=√64

b=8

for t2

b^2+6^2=6.5^2

b=√(42.25-36)

b=√6.25

b=2.5

so sum up both B's = 2.5+8

=10.5 cm
