Answer: [ The mixed fractions are in improper fraction form ]

1. -3/7 - 13/5 = 24/35             2. 29/8 -[-4/9] = 229/72

3. -29/9-[-14/5] = -271/5

4.

Sum of  two rational numbers -  3/5.

One of the rational numbers - -2/7

Let's assume that the another number is - y

y + -2/7 = 3/5 [eg: 5 + 2 =7]

y = 3/5 -[-2/7] [eg: 5 = 7-2]

= 21/35 + 10/35 [ Take out the LCM ]

y = 3/5 + 2/7

y = 31/35

Therefore the other rational number is 31/35.
