let x be the reservation charge
let y be the full fare
in 1st case x+y =4150------1
in 2nd case x+y+x+y/2=6255
2x+3y/2=6255
4x+3y=6255*2
4x+3y=12510---------2
from 1 and 2
1 *4----- 4x+4y=16600
2*-1-----(-4x-3y)=-12510
0+y=4090
y=4090
x+y=4150
x+4090=4150
x=60

Let the Railway full ticket cost be x rs
Reservation charge be y rs
so cost of railway half ticket=x/2
According to equation,
then x+y = 4150----------(1)
and x+y + (x/2) + y=6255
3x/2 + 2y =6255
therefore 3x+4y=12510
and 4x+4y = 16600(mul (1) by 4)-------(2)
do (2)- (1)
therefore x =Rs 4090
y=4150-4090
and y= 60
Basic first class full fare is Rs 4090
reservation charge is Rs 60
Reservation charge be y rs
so cost of railway half ticket=x/2
