Next,

And Angle C is also equal to 180-y
Triangle sum property:
2x+x+180-y=180
=3x-y=0
=3x=y

Now substitute this value in the 1 equation:

2x+3x=180
5x=180
X=36

So,
Y=3x=108
X=36
