AnsweR

x = 3 or x = 4/3

Solution :

\implies 6/x – 2/(x–1) = 1/(x–2)

\implies [6(x–1)–2x]/[x(x–1)] = 1/(x–2)

\implies (6x–6–2x)/(x²–x) =1/(x–2)

\implies (4x–6) (x–2) = x²–x

\implies 4x² – 8x – 6x + 12 = x²–x

\implies 4x² – x² –14x + x + 12 = 0

\implies 3x² – 13x + 12 = 0

\implies 3x² – 9x –4x +12 = 0

\implies 3x(x – 3) –4(x – 3) = 0

\implies (x – 3) (3x – 4) = 0

\implies x – 3 = 0 or 3x – 4 = 0

\implies x = 3 or x = 4/3
