50 J =F*100
F=50/100
F=0.5N

According to the definition of work , Work is the product of force and the total distance covered.
or. W=Fd.............(1)
Given ,
Work done ,W=50J
Distance covered ,d =100m
Force applied, F=?
From eqn.1 we have ,
F =W/d
=50/100
=0.5N
Hence option A is the correct answer.
