☯ GiveN :

Ratio of two sides of parallelogram is 3:5.

Perimter of parallelogram = 48 cm

\rule{200}{1}

☯ To FinD :

We have to find the sides of the parallelogram ?

\rule{200}{1}

☯ SolutioN :

Let the side of the parallelogram be x.

So,

First side (a) = 3x

Second side (b) = 5x

We know the formula to claculate the perimeter of the parallelogram.

\Large{\implies{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{Perimeter = 2(a + b)}}}}}

Putting Values

\sf{\dashrightarrow 48 = 2(3x + 5x)} \\ \\ \sf{\dashrightarrow \frac{\cancel{48}}{\cancel{2}} = 8x} \\ \\ \sf{\dashrightarrow 8x = 24} \\ \\ \sf{\dashrightarrow x = \frac{\cancel{24}}{\cancel{8}}} \\ \\ \sf{\dashrightarrow x = 3} \\ \\ \Large{\implies{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{x = 3}}}}}

\therefore First side = 3x = 3(3) = 9 cm

Second side = 5x = 5(3) = 15 cm
