Answer:

the figure is a square so angle CXY= 45

and angle YXC = 180-112

angle YXC = 78

so angle A = 180 - 45+78

angle A = 57 degree

here is the answer frnd

Given :-

∠DXC = 112°

ABCD is a square

AC is the diagonal of the square

DY is a straight line

To Find :-

The unknown angle ' a '

Solution :-

Since ABCD is a square,

therefore, ∠C = 90°

(property of a square)

Since AC is the diagonal,

=> ∠DCX and ∠YCX = 45°

(Since, Diagonal bisects an angle in equal parts)

DY is a straight line (Given)

=> ∠DXC + ∠YXC = 180°

(Linear Pair)

=> 112° + ∠YXC = 180°

=> ∠YXC = 180° - 112°

=> ∠YXC = 68°

In ∆ CXY :-

∠YCX + ∠YXC + ∠a = 180°

=> 45° + 68° + ∠a = 180°

=> 113° + ∠a = 180°

=> ∠a = 180° - 113°

=> ∠a = 67°

Required answer = 67°
