( i )Circumference of circle = 123.2 cm

→ 2πr = 123.2 cm

→ r = 123.2/2π

→ r = 19.6 cm ________"'

( ii ) Area of circle = πr²

= π(19.6)²

= 1206.3 cm² __________"'

( iii ) If radius is doubled

New radius = 2r = 2 x 19.6 = 39.2 cm

New area of circle = π(2r)²

= π(39.2)²

= 4825.05 cm² ________"'

Now,

new area/ old area = 4825.05/1206.3

= 4 times (approx.) ___________"'

Hope it helps....
