First of all thanks for this question :)

Given;

u=6 m/s

a=(-2m/s)²

t= 6s

So by using the formula,

s=ut+1/2 at²

=6x6+1/2 x (-2) x6²

=36-36=0

⇒ Since the displacement travelled is 6s=0,it is back at the original position. Why? Because the velocity will first become zero, and then negative so, the particle, after stopping, will start moving in the reverse direction..
