 \frac{3x - 1}{4}  -  \frac{x - 1}{2}  = 0 \\  \\ \frac{3x - 1 - 2(x - 1)}{4}  = 0 \\  \\  \frac{3x - 1 - 2x + 2}{4}  = 0 \\  \\  \frac{x + 1}{4}  = 0 \\  \\ x + 1 = 4 \\  \\ x = 4 - 1 \\  \\ x = 3

 \frac{3x - 1}{4}  -  \frac{x - 1}{2}  = 0 \\

 \frac{3x - 1 - (2x - 2)}{4} = 0  \\

 \frac{3x - 1 - 2x + 2}{4} = 0  \\

 \frac{x + 1}{4}   = 0\\

x + 1 = 0 \times 4

x + 1 = 0

x = 0 - 1

x =  - 1
