Firstly we will calculate the number of moles in 48g of Mg

No of moles = 48/24 = 2

We have 2 moles of Mg^+2.

Now we will calculate the number of Mg+2 ions present in 48 g .

No of atoms = 2N°

Now we will calculate no electrons in Mg+2

2 electrons are already removed

So total no of electrons will be multiplied by 10.

2N° x 10

= 20N°

( Please note that N° is Avogadro's number )
