= [( 2 × 1 + 1 × -3 )/(2 + 1) , (2 × -4 + 1 × 7 )/(2 + 1)]
= [-1/3 , -1/3]
= (-1/3,-1/3)
Hence, the co-ordinates of the Point A is (-1/3,-1/3).
