So, first we connect

. 3 ohm and 6 ohm in parallel

1/R = 1/3 +1/ 6

= 1/2

So, R =2 ohm

Now, we connect it with 2ohm resistance in series

R = 2+ 2

R = 4ohm

(b) 1 ohm

We connect all the resistance in parallel

1 /R = 1 /2 +1/3 + 1/6

= 6/6

R = 1 ohm
