divide numerator and denominator by x-a

use formula (x^m-a^m)/(x-a)=ma^(m-1)
and use formula (x^n-a^n)/(x-a)=na^(n-1)

so from above two eqn and =(n/m)×a^(n-1-m+1)

=
 \frac{n \times {a}^{n- m} }{m}

supkar766: But you have used which formula?
mistyque: its in the ans you can solve this by L'hopital rul too because it is 0/0 form
supkar766: ok..thanks fr your help
