Hey friend,

Here is the solution :-

Here, Principal = 12025, Rate = 4%, Time = 2 years.

=> C. I. = Amount - Principal

amount \:  = p \: (1 +  \frac{r}{100} )^{t}  \\  \\  =  > 12025 \: (1 +  \frac{4}{100} )^{2}  \\  \\  =  > 12025 \: (1 +  \frac{1}{25} )^{2}  \\  \\  =  > 12025 \: ( \frac{26}{25} )^{2}  \\  \\  =  > 12025 \times  \frac{26}{25}  \times \frac{26}{25}   = 13006.24 \\  \\ now \: c.i. = amount - principal \\  \\  =  > c.i. = 13006.24 - 12025 = 981.24

So, Rakesh would have to pay 981.24 as the interest.

✨I hope this will help you....✨
