Answer:

sons present age =10

fathers age = 40

Step-by-step explanation:

let sons present age =x

fathers  present age =x+30

after 5 years

sons age = x+5

fathers age = x=30+5

=x+35

according to question

x+35=3(x+5)

x+35=3x+15

2x=20

x=10

i am sorry i am using a computer so i could not send it as a photo

hope it is clear enough for you

pranish91: can u plz explain the step..@x+35=3(x+5)
yadav9sakshi: he mentioned that fathers age is 3 times sons age after 5 years
yadav9sakshi: so we took both their ages after 5 years
yadav9sakshi: and then equated according to the question
