Let the two numbers be x and x + 3. Then,
x + x + 3 = 95
= 2x + 3 = 95
= 2x = 95 - 3
= 2x = 92
= x = 92/2
= x = 46
∴ The two numbers are 46 (x) and 49 ( x + 3 ).
