so the other number will be x+3
so, x+(x+3)=95
=>2x+3 = 95
=>2x =92
=>x =46
therefore, the two numbers are 46 and 49..

= 2x + 3 = 95

= 2x = 95 - 3

= 2x = 92

= x = 92/2

= x = 46
