V = 0

T = t1

now ...since ...

V = U + aT

0 = u sin @ - g t1

hence....

t1 = u sin @ / g

next....

for downward motion...

U = 0

V = u sin @

a = + 2g

T = t2

hence....

u sin @ = 0 + 2g t2

t2 = u sin @ / 2g

therefore....

t = t1 + t2

t = ( u sin @ / g ) + ( u sin @ / 2g )

t = 3/2 ( u sin @ / g )
