X + Y = 3

In this case X & Y must be 0, 1, 2, 3

When, 2x + 5y is 12

0 & 3 can't be used because 0 × any number is 0.

So, only 1 & 2 are the numbers left.

So, if X is 2 then 2 * 2 it becomes 4 and 8 is left, 8 is not divisible by 5.

And now the only option left for us is

X = 1 & Y = 2.
