SINCE ANGLE PSQ =90

PQ2 = PS2 +SQ2 (BY PYHTGORAS THEOREM )

PQ2 = 25

PQ = 5 CM

TAN THETA = PQ/RS

TAN THETA =5/9

In ∆PSQ, right-angled at S

Using Pythagoras Theorem

PS²+QS²=PQ²

\sqrt{3^2+4^2}=PQ

\sqrt{9+16}=PQ

\sqrt{25}=PQ

Therefore PQ=5

As we know

tan theeta = \dfrac{Perpendicular}{Base}

tan theeta = \dfrac{5}{9}
