According to the question

Let b be the breadth

length = b + 3

If length and breadth increased by 2cm new area is 70 sq cm more

i.e., b(b+3)+70=(b+2)(b+5) \\  \\ </p><p></p><p>b2+3b+70=b2+2b+5b+10 \\  \\ </p><p></p><p>4b=60 \\  \\ </p><p></p><p>b=15 \\  \\ </p><p></p><p>l=15+3=18.</p><p></p><p>
