suppose the radius of original circle be 70cm
area of circle=πr²
=(22/7)×70×70
=22×10×70
=15400cm²
if the radius is increased by 20%
70×20/100
=14
70+14=84
area of new circle=πr²
=(22/7)×84×84
=22×12×84
=22176cm²
increase in area=22176-15400=6776
percentage=(6776/15400)×100
=6776/154
=44%
