Time= Distance Travelled/ Speed
So, t 1= 100/60 hr
=> 5/3 hr
In the second case, the auto driver travels at a speed 40km/hr a distance of 100km.
Thus,
Time= Distance Travelled/ Speed
So, t 2 = 100/40 hr
=> 5/2 hr
Total time taken:-
t 1 + t 2
5/3 + 5/2 hr
25/6 hr Toatal distance travelled = 200km.
We can calculate average speed as:-
Average speed = Total distance travell/ Speed
Average speed for the entire journey is:-
