Given that area of the trapezium is 385cm^2.

Given that distance between them = 11cm.

Let the length of the parallel sides of the trapezium are be 3x and 4x.

We know that Area of trapezium = 1/2 * (sum of parallel sides) * height

                                  385 = 1/2(3x + 4x) * 11

                                  385 = 1/2(7x) * 11

                                  385 * 2 = 7x * 11

                                  770 = 77x

                                  770/77 = x

                                  10 = x.

3x = 3 * 10 = 30.

4x = 4 * 10 = 40.

Therefore the longer side = 40cm.

Hope this helps!
