For a little explanation : -

Let boxes are X₁ , X₂ , X₃ and X₄ respectively.

In the question, value of X₁ + X₂ is same as the value of X₂ + X₄.

From this, we can say that X₁ = X₄

Now, we can substitute the value of X₄,

X₃ - X₄ = X₃ - X₁ = 6

X₁ + X₃ = 13 [ From question ]

By Adding & subtracting, we can get the values of X₁ and X₃. Further, by substituting the values of X₁ and X₃ in other equations, we can get the values of X₂ and X₄( X₄ = X₁ ).
