Answer :- m = -5 , n = 6
- Zeros of x² + mx + n = 3( zeros of 3x² - 5x +2 )
- Values of m and n
- 3x² - 5x + 2 = (x - 1 )×( 3x - 2)
Given that Solution of first polynomial is three times the soultions now obtained
Solutions of first polynomial
- 1 × 3 = 3
- 2/3 × 3 = 2
- Solutions of first polynomial = 3 , 2
- 1st Polynomial (x -3 )×(x - 2)
- x² - 5x + 6
Now equating both sides ,
x² + mx + n = x² -5x + 6
we get
- m -5
- n 6
